Greetings!
Education is a process of growth externalization and actualization of human potential and thus central to national development. The impact of emerging knowledge and innovation on Education society has lead to dramatic changes in the educational landscape globally leading to development of newer cultures and processes bringing about greater accountability & quality consciousness in the field of education.
We are inspired by the thoughts of Swami Vivekanand, who emphasized on youth empowerment for nation building. Maharaja Mansingh College has earned repute for distancing from commercialization of education as well as for inculcating values through discipline and believed in imparting holistic education with emphasis on character building, to create good citizens.
The accreditation process have given scope for reflection on the methods adopted in the teaching learning, fine tuning administrative processes, and in general becoming responsive to the needs of various stakeholders. NAAC through its processes of accreditation is setting the road map for every institution to tread the path for pursuit of excellence.
Maharaja Mansingh College established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as per guideline of UGC and Higher Education the in 2015. The IQAC being an integral part of the college works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement by developing a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in different aspects of functioning of the college.
The IQAC assures the stakeholders i.e., students, parents, teachers, staff, Management, funding agencies and society in general - of the accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution and its concern for ensuring quality of education being imparted.
Internal Quality Assurance System is a step towards Excellence. The IQAC of Maharaja Mansingh College organises Faculty Development programmes for faculty, Nonteaching and office staff and quality circle members. It conducts open forum to provide inter face between students and officials of the college. It conducts staff assessment and exit poll to provide valuable feedback for quality sustenance and improvement in teaching, learning and research experiences in the college. It documents and reports various activities of the college for various higher education requirements. A continuous follow up has been made on infrastructural resources of the college to assure adequate, appropriate and better facilities to assure conducive and enabling environment for teaching, learning and research. Through all these measures IQAC happens to be one of the important components of the college which ensures quality and continuous improvement in all the units / aspects of the college.
