From the desk of Principal

Dear friends,

Maharaja Mansingh College, Gwalior has a long history of strong academics, beginning with students enrolled in UG and PG level of Higher education. I heartily welcome you on behalf of our College. Our college aims at overall personality development and empowerment of the students. About 1200 students take education in Arts, Science, Commerce and Management streams under UG and PG courses in our college. Many of our students are rural areas from nearly village and also from minorities.

With the view of social justice through education, we offer opportunities to the neglected students. We have charged the students with being accountable for their academic goals and to plot out their plans for the future. This enables the students to pursue knowledge that will lead to a career and lifestyle of their choice. We are also aware that our students have to face the challenges of changing global scenario. So along with traditional education, we try to enhance their skills in communication and career-oriented areas.

The academic atmosphere is healthy and free. The students have easy access to the principal, teachers and the office staff. Naturally they always feel at home. We also encourage the students in various cultural and other various activities like NSS, N.C.C and sports.

The means to achieve these things, is our efficient staff, who works as the inspiring force. All the teachers are well-educated, up growing and motivated. Our Management also appreciated their performance – “The teachers are dedicated and committed.--------The faculty and students have an excellent relationship”. In future also we have plans to increase our growth graph. As the principal it is my goal to push the College forward and continue to make strides in all Higher education related endeavours. I look forward to meeting all of my student’s parents and working with them to support our scholars.

Thanks.

( Principal Dr. S. S. Tomar )
